Robert Lackney
Lackney is an award winning architect specializing in liturgical spaces, and has designed and completed many notable buildings across Ohio.
He was trained in the master-apprentice workshop system and has collaborated with numerous professional creatives, including George Birline, Duncan Stuart, and Jose de Riveria.
His many professional endeavors include architect, artist, professor, author, and founder of The Society for Sacred Architecture.
He currently maintains a prolific working studio in Danville, Kentucky where he continues to explore and create in oil, acrylic, ink, pencil, graphics, and digital media.
His substantial body of work reflects the technical and spiritual growth of a lifetime. While his work continues to transform the underlying impulse remains alive: thoughts, emotions, and insights “rise up” within as visual forms in the second, third, and multi-dimensional and are reflected in images, patterns, and sequences of light and radiating love.
